Yummy
I tried out a new cookie recipe last night...they are very yummy! They have all of the things that make a good cookie...chocolate chips, oatmeal, and peanut butter. They are also very chewy, which makes them even better!
Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar (I accidentally put 1/2 cup and they still turned out, but I guess most people want less sugar, not more:))
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
Using a mixer, cream butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla for about 3 minutes. Add egg, beat until mixed. Add flour mixture slowly on low speed. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
Scoop dough (about 1 tbsp size scoops) onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Put on wire rack to cool.

Home to wait on Baby Kirk!
I am home from my last few weeks of traveling. Hawaii was great (although I think I was allergic), and I actually got to watch Chris play. Now, I get to wait on the arrival of Baby Kirk. I can't believe I am only 8 weeks (give or take) away from meeting this little man! I'm very excited for him to arrive, not so excited about being away from Chris! While Chris is away, I will be doing a lot of resting and some nursery decorating. I currently have all of the furniture, but I am in serious need of organization and decorations. Here is what I'm working with:
| This is the elephant hamper that started it all...this was the first nursery item that I purchased. |

I also put the stroller together. I probably should have waited for help, but I am very impatient!

Hawaii
Chris and I are in Hawaii for 2 weeks to start off the first couple of tournaments of the year. These are the last 2 weeks that I will be traveling for a while. After Hawaii, I head home to await the arrival of Baby Kirk! Thankfully, I'm still feeling really good and able to enjoy myself (which pretty much means doing nothing). Sadly, I'm not going to be walking the course this week. It's a little too hilly to be walking in my pregnant state. Next week, I'm hoping to at least get in 9 holes a day.
We still don't do a very good job at taking pictures, but here are a few from our long drive the other day...

Baby Kirk
Today we had a 3-D/4-D ultrasound. Baby Kirk was a little camera shy, but we were able to get a few good shots. He's so cute...can't wait to meet him. Only a few more months!

This off season is flying by!
We got home late last night from Chris' Travis Mathew photo shoot, followed by a great vacation in Cabo. The vacation was wonderful...very relaxing. The food was great ( I think that I may have had a few too many churros), and the scenery was gorgeous. Now, we are back home for just a few days before heading out to celebrate Christmas with our families. I think we will be home a total of 9 days this month...but I guess I shouldn't be complaining since mid-January I will be at home for a while waiting on this baby boy!

We got to see a whale...my camera is very zoomed out, but you can actually see it jump in the distance (and you can tell from everyones reaction).
